Our Story

It all started with a desire to find rare and unique pieces that I couldn't buy in New Zealand. I would scour the internet, until late at night in search of pieces that I'd never seen or held in person. The search would take me to all the corners of the globe. From Brazil to India, America and China. The variety and options were endless and as my connection to overseas suppliers grew, so did my passion. Questions started to arise. I wonder if people are attracted to crystals in the same way that I am? Would people like the to own similar crystals that I've come to own? I decided to find out. On a Saturday morning I loaded some boxes with pieces that I'd manage to source and headed to my local Farmers Market. As I set up my display table, people immediately stopped and asked. Where did you find such beautiful crystals? I explain that I've been able to source the crystals from different places all around the globe. As the morning passes and the people come and go, my display table starts to look bare. As the questions keep coming and the market starts to come to a close, my table is cleared and all the pieces have gone. As I pack up my table, still amazed at what's happened. It is here that Tribal Crystals is born....
